INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN

  • Show images of various landforms (mountains, valleys, plains, rivers, etc.). 
  • Ask: “What landforms have you seen in real life?” 
  1. Presentation of New Information or Modeling:
  •  Explain the characteristics of different landforms. 
  • Discuss how landforms are created (tectonic activity, erosion, weathering).  
  1. Guided Practice:
  • Students work in pairs to identify landforms on a map. 
  • Label and color landforms based on key features. 
  1. Independent Student Practice:
  • Students choose one landform and write a short paragraph describing it.  
  1. Culminating or Closing Procedure/Activity/Event:
  • Share descriptions with the class.
